DAMASCUS, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Turkish army is beefing upmilitary presence amid high-security alert near the Syrian borderTuesday evening, just as Ankara is bracing to attack a Kurdish-heldregion in northern Syria Oliver Ekman-Larsson Jersey , pan-Arab al-Mayadeen TV reported.
Reinforcements of the Turkish forces kept arriving at a Turkishborder region near the Kurdish-held Afrin region in the northernprovince of Aleppo, said the report.
It added that high-security alert was noticed on the Turkishside of the border near the Kurdish-controlled Ayn al-Arab, orKobane, in another part of the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The military tension comes hours after Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan said the military campaign against the Kurdishforces in Afrin will be supported by Turkey-backed Syrian rebels,according to the report.
The Turkish president also vowed to eliminate a 30 Derek Stepan Jersey ,000-strongsecurity forces which are being currently formed by the UnitedStates in Kurdish-held areas in northeastern Syria.
Erdogan branded the new U.S.-backed army as a "terrorist army,"the latest escalation of tension with Washington over the thornyKurdish issue in Syria.

In his speech Tuesday, Erdogan urged NATO to take a stand onU.S.-backed Syrian border forces, which would be created from theKurdish-dominated People's Protection Units (YPG) Christian Dvorak Jersey , which isregarded as a terror group by Turkey.

NAIROBI, May 2 (Xinhua) -- World javelin champion Julius Yego of Kenya says he will be seeking answers on his fitness level as he makes his first show in competitive action in Qatar on Friday at the Doha Diamond League.
It is over nine months since, a limping Yego retired from the Rio Olympics suffering from an ankle injury that forced him out of the games.
It was his Yego fourth attempt at the throw, which handed him the silver medal and won Thomas Rohler Germany's first javelin gold since Berlin 1936.
"I have been training since I recovered from the injury. This will be the first time I will see how I rank in competition and it will advise how my future training will be fine-tuned Niklas Hjalmarsson Jersey ," Yego said Tuesday in Nairobi.
With the focus being on defending his crown in London at the World Championships in August, Yego will carry no baggage as returns to action, which leaves Rohler under pressure to prove he is the best in the sport at the moment.
The javelin rivalry will hit the crescendo as the Olympic and World Champion faces off though they will not be the only diamond in the ring.
Though Doha will serve as the curtain raiser for the Kenya, it will not water down the spirit of competition as Yego seeks to take the battle to his opponents door step.
"The focus in Doha is to gauge my fitness, how the body reacts to competition. I have done well in training throwing desired distance Luke Schenn Jersey , but in competition, with all the pressure, it can change and that is what I want to confirm," he said.

"I have been away in rehabilitation and now it's time to reap for the great work done in the gym. This is to fulfil my dream of defending my title in London," he added.
But the Kenya warned he might limit the number of competitions he will take part in ion the build up to London as he seeks to consolidate his energy and avid burning out.
